Jessica Darling my favorite literary character of all time!

I just finished reading Perfect Fifths, the last of the Jessica Darling series by Megan McCafferty. I first picked up Sloppy Firsts in High School, i’m pretty sure freshman year and instantly fell in love with it’s heroine. Now seven years later the series is over, and I have come to know many more characters who I have loved but I still love Jessica the most.

Friends, if you like to read, I STRONGLY suggest reading: Sloppy Firsts, Second Helpings, Charmed Thirds, Fourth Comings, and Perfect Fifths! If you adore Lizzie Bennett, Holden Caulfield, Mia Thermopolis, Georgia Nicholson, and Charlie as much as I do, then you will love Jessica Darling!

“ I’ll bet that my post-college preoccupations aren’t totally dissimilar to your own as you navigate this strange, semi-autonomous period, when you’re technically on your own but in no way feel like you qualify as as an adult; when you discover that what you thought would make you happy doesn’t and what you thought you wanted isn’t what you want at all.
